Heartland Farm Sanctuary, a nonprofit based in Stoughton and founded in 2010, is a safe and welcoming place where people and rescued farm animals connect, grow, and heal together.
In 2025, Legacy Solar Co-op worked with Full Spectrum Solar to install 3 rooftop solar arrays totaling 50.22kW at Heartland Farm Sanctuary in Stoughton, WI. The array is estimated to offset about 59.6% of the farm’s electricity annually.
