Lifetime membership is a one-time charge: $100 for an individual/household or $250 for a business or institution.

Membership Benefits
We joined Legacy Solar Co-op because we wanted to dedicate our attention to something small and help it grow in to an everyday concept in Wisconsin. This form of sustainable energy investment is much more tangible and a sensible option given we can’t currently install solar panels on our house.
Legacy Solar Co-op was very helpful to us in every aspect of Troy Farm’s solar array project. We highly recommend joining the Co-op when you’re ready to start your own solar project.
Solar Education
Members will have access to Legacy Solar Co-op team members and others with a wealth of knowledge about solar energy and how to save energy and money with energy efficiency and solar projects. Members receive an informative monthly e-newsletter.
Discounted Consulting Services
Members get discounts for solar consulting services, with access to vetted vendors and solar experts. Services include project development, assessments, and information on grants, tax benefits and other financing options.
Investment in Solar
Only Legacy Solar Co-op members are eligible to buy Slice of Sun solar bonds, where your investment helps nonprofit organizations and others acquire solar energy, while earning interest.
Offset Credits from Local Solar Producers
Buy solar Renewable Energy Credits (sRECs) specifically from Wisconsin-based solar energy producers through our Switch-to-Solar (S2S) program, paving the way to grow even more solar in Wisconsin. Members get preferred rates for both buying and selling their RECs through Legacy Solar Co-op.
Membership Dues
• $100 for a lifetime membership • $250 for an institution (business or community organizations such as a house of worship, school, or library)
