In 2025, Legacy Solar Co-op worked with ALNC to plan their latest venture into renewable energy by assessing their current energy portfolio and usage, grants. Roof replacement. Solar project as part of their general fundraising campaign.

In November, 2025, Midwest Solar Power installed a 35.38kW rooftop solar array at Aldo Leopold Nature Center in Monona, WI. The array is estimated to offset about 57% of the building’s electricity annually.
This solar array helps ALNC achieve its mission by providing a cleaner environment for the children attending their programs.
