Legacy Solar Co-op is pleased to announce an expanded Switch to Solar program with more options to subscribe and counter your carbon emissions.
Starting July 1st we roll out a campaign to bring Power to the People. At Legacy Solar Co-op, we believe everyone has the right to access solar energy, whether it is distributed through their community’s infrastructure or installed on their own home or property.
Legacy Solar Co-op’s Switch-to-Solar program, S2S, offers solar renewable energy certificates (sRECs) as a way for everyone to access the benefits of solar, Wisconsin installed solar systems, and a low-carbon future.
Together we can invigorate Wisconsin’s economy for decades to come by switching to solar energy sources, addressing carbon pollution, and improving energy accessibility.
An S2S sREC subscriber holds a certificate for 1,000 kWh of carbon-free benefits generated by Wisconsin solar power. As local governments, organizations and individuals commit to reducing carbon pollution and going all-renewable, Legacy Solar Co-op is here as your leader to help you reach your sustainability goals.
We will fall behind if we don’t invest in renewable energy, phase-out fossil fuels and empower people to understand our energy system.
