City of Monona to install solar panels…
City of Monona plans to install solar panels on four of the city’s buildings
By the end of 2013, Monona plans to have 382 solar panels installed atop four of the city’s public facilities, and neither the city nor its residents will have to pay for them.
“The City will receive a stream of renewable energy credits along with the electrical output under a solar service partnership agreement with Falcon Energy Systems, a Colorado based investment group. Madison-based Full Spectrum Solar will install and service the equipment, provided by tenKsolar, on the city-owned sites.”
